Sem & Johnsen has established itself as a formidable player in the real estate brokerage industry, specializing in highly coveted properties in Oslo and Bærum since its inception in 1977. In 2021, they made a significant move by relocating their 70 employees to the modern VIA building in Oslo. Seeking to enhance efficiency and streamline internal communication, they made the strategic decision to implement Databeat solutions throughout their office space. With the invaluable support of our trusted partner, isiScreen, Sem & Johnsen now utilizes both Databeat Signage and Databeat Doorsign, effectively optimizing their workflow and operations.

Databeat paid a visit to Sem & Johnsen's office in Vika to witness firsthand how they had implemented our solutions. As we arrived, we were greeted by an informative digital signage display that assured us our assistance would be forthcoming. These type of screens, showcasing relevant content, play a crucial role in alleviating any confusion for visitors who are unfamiliar with the office layout. Just a few minutes later, a warm welcome awaited us from a friendly receptionist.

From the reception area, we catch a captivating glimpse of Sem & Johnsen's exquisite social zone. The generously spaced area is adorned with sophisticated furnishings and features a 75-inch screen that serves both a meeting room display and an informational screen. Numerous Databeat clients are eager to harness the potential of their meeting room screens, utilizing them to exhibit captivating content and valuable information when they are not in use. This effortless integration offers clients a seamless experience, allowing them to effortlessly connect their laptops or other devices to the meeting room screens without encountering any complications. Sem & Johnsen keeps their employees well-informed by showcasing crucial information such as upcoming events, news updates, weather forecasts, and more.

The 75-inch screen is just one of the multiple displays utilized to showcase content when the meeting room screen is not in use. Sem & Johnsen takes pride in offering four meeting rooms, all equipped with the same solution. With the help of Databeat Doorsign, employees can effortlessly reserver these meeting rooms either through the Outlook calendar or directly via the touchscreens located outside each room. Databeat Doorsign streamlines and simplifies the entire booking process, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Furthermore, employees have the added convenience of checking the availability of each meeting room. If their desired room appears occupied on the touch screen, they can promptly search for nearby available rooms. This feature provides a simple and efficient way to secure an open meeting room without the need to frantically search for alternatives.

Each meeting room is equipped with its own dedicated touch screen located outside the door. These screens provide real-time updates on the status of each room through seamless integration with Microsoft 365. Sem & Johnsen has taken the initiative to personalize the design of these touch screens, enabling them to blend Databeat's templates with their own multimedia content, including images and videos. The goal is to establish a unified aesthetic in which the touch screens and meeting room displays harmonize flawlessly, creating a cohesive and visually appealing environment.

Sem & Johnsen benefits from the ease of managing these screens, as both Databeat Signage and Databeat Doorsign are consolidated within a unified platform called DatabeatOMNI. This integration allows them to streamline their operations by working with a single provider for all their screen needs, ensuring a smooth and trouble-free experience.

We are excited to continue our collaboration with Sem & Johnsen and our partner, isiScreen.
