Databeat.Net is responsible for processing your data. It is voluntary for those users that visit our website and to provide personal information associated with our services such as subscribing to our newsletter, visiting the site, signing up for a free demo, using the sharing option via our website. The foundation of processing for this is that we get consent from each and single user unless otherwise specified.

 

How do we collect and use your data:

Databeat.Net will receive personal data about you, depending on if you are a customer, demo user, website visitor, or software-user. Some of the personal information is categorized as personal data and will be described in detail in this paragraph. For us to be able to deliver our services, thus fulfilling our part of the agreement we have with you as a customer of Databeat.Net, then we will collect the following information about you:

We will delete this information for this purpose when customer relationships are terminated and your contact information as well as media files that are stored on your DatabeatOMNI account

If you are only a subscriber to our newsletter then you will use the following information:

Sharing Databeat.Net content

The “Social Share” feature on our website can be used to forward links via email or to share the content with others via social media. In addition to Google Analytics, we use Hotjar. Hotjar makes a recording of user sessions to create heat maps over usage patterns. Your mouse and click movements are recorded so we can analyze how our web pages are used and that we can improve our user experience. Everything stored is anonymous.

Marketing and Advertising Network:

We advertise through various advertising networks such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin. DatabeatOMNI application & third-party data:

For DatabeatOMNI to provide the solution that was contracted by the user, the app is dependent on getting access and permissions from the user. The following steps are related to these third-party solutions providers.

 
Google Apps

When the user clicks on the Google app icon, they are directed to the login page for Google Gmail, they write in their credentials such as email and password. When the user has entered their credentials, they are forwarded to a second stage where they see which type of data that the DatabeatOMNI app will use or have to access Data is limited to or what is shown on the permissions page.

After the user has accepted the permissions page, the DatabeatOMNI app will receive an OAuth token. All further communication will be via this token. This OAuth token will be saved in Databeat. Net database. The user has to agree to rules and permission set to get access to the application.

We do not save user credentials; all communication is done via the OAuth token.

The personal data that we collect is:

  • Name & surname
  • Title or position within the organization.
  • Company telephone number
  • Company email.
  • Calendar information.

Note: The Google account that is used to link the DatabeatOMNI app to Google Apps has to be a global administrator.

 
Microsoft Office 365 / Exchange

When the user clicks on the Office 365 /Exchange icon, they will have to enter their login ID and password. These are the same credentials that the user uses to login to Office 365 Portal. Note that this data is stored in the DatabeatOMNI to provide access to the feature.

Below are the steps of the data collection process;

The user has now linked their account with the DatabeatOMNI app; if everything is done correctly, the calendar icon in the app will be green and marked with the third-party solution chosen for the process.

The DatabeatOMNI app will have access to people, rooms, and resources that are linked in their organization. It will be displayed in three respective tabs within the application separately.

The DatabeatOMNI app will store and keep the organizations' data like the following:

  • Name & surname
  • Title or position within the organization.
  • Company telephone number
  • Company email.

Databeat.Net will always use best practices to safeguard your personal information. These data may be stored in the systems, and given the consent, you have provided about the use of data. This will mainly be Databeat.Net’s core system, which operates on Microsoft Azure’s data centers in Ireland and the Netherlands.
